She Did It!

Remember when I wrote my very first Rising Star post about Jennifer Lawrence? And now she has risen to the top and become one of the two youngest stars to ever won the Academy Award for Best Actress in A Leading Role! Here are some of my favorite moments of our new Oscar wining actress. I know for a fact that there are only more goods to come.

Helping her create these perfect moments (minus the trip and fall) is the beautiful gown from Christian Dior with shoes and accessories from Briant Atwood, Roger Vivier and Chopard.

PS: Congratulations to Anne Hathaway on her much deserving golden statue!

Maggie Q Got Naked for the Environment

I always love it when a celebrity take their clothes off…for a good cause! Maggie Q shows off her amazing body to promote healthy eating and protecting the environment. Yeah, that’s my kind of sexiness!

Dior Spring 2013 Couture Favorite Look
Something about a white gown with tasteful embellishment turns my fashionista’s b**er on! Raf Simons never disappoints (and I’m still waiting). The only thing I love more about this dress is that couture pixie cut…very Anne Hathaway…very Les Misérables

What you wear is how you present yourself to the world, especially today, when human contacts are so quick. Fashion is instant language.

—Miuccia Prada

Fashion is not necessarily about labels. It’s not about brands. It’s about something else that comes from within you.

Fashion Moment: Heidi Klum in Versace at the MTV Europe Music Award

Not only did the former supermodel do an awesome job hosting the MTV Europe Music Award last night, but she was also putting on a fashion show with her wardrobe change throughout the show. The highlight was when she walked down the red carpet looking stunning in a Versace Spring/Summer 2013 gown with the perfect touch of Lorraine Schwartz jewelry. Sexy as always, and Heidi Klum gave me a female hero kind of vibe as well…weird right? But definitely in a good way!

Inspiration: Nicolas GhesquièreNicolas Ghesquière has done so much for Balenciaga and the fashion industry during his time at the French label. No matter where he goes and what he does, his work will be just as inspirational as the designer he is. I personally can’t wait to one day be able to purchase a Nicolas Ghesquière's pieces in his very own collection!

Laura Blokhina by Pierre Dal Corso for L’EDITO Magazine

Love! That’s all I can say about these beautiful images. Laura Blokhina, without a doubt, will have some striking steps in her future modeling career! Btw, I cannot get over that flaming red hair!

Women should look like women. A piece of cardboard has no sexuality.

Fashion Moment: Victoria Beckham Poses at Coco Chanel’s House

The 38-year-old mother-of-four was asked by Elle France to appear in an exclusive cover shoot, alongside the living legend Karl Lagerfeld. And what could be a better location than the home of Coco Chanel!? Not only was it a dream come true to Vic, but millions of fans out there are also very excited with this iconic fashion moment!

Lana Del Rey - Two in A Row

The Born to Die singer knocks it out of the park with the cover of Vogue Australia and H&M ad campaign. Two very different styles, but she looks beautiful in all the images. This is fashion icon in the making!

Anne Vyalitsyna for Numéro

The Victoria’s Secret angel looks hauntingly striking in Numéro #137, captured by Ben Hassett. Androgynous Beauties - Fashion Newest Old Trend

Back in the 70s, Grace Jones was the first model whose androgyny was the muse for fashion designers and their creations. Until today, Jones is still the source of inspiration for many designers, artists, photographers and editors. Her look was the perfect blend of femininity and masculinity, portraying a gender-free beauty!

Now in the years of 2000s, fashion is celebrating the “Grace Jones beauty” again and bigger then ever before. Models like Agyness Deyn and Freja Beha have shaken the industry with countless runway appearances, magazine editorials and ad campaigns. However, it is Andrej Pecjic who has taken the world of fashion by storm and given a new meaning to androgynous by breaking countless boundaries!

Not only is this an undeniably amazing “trend”, but as Pejic said it himself, it is a very economically conscious decision for the designers to work with these “2 in 1” models! I personally think beauty has no boarder, especially in term of sexuality. How about you?
